Graduate Certificate in Educational Studies (Educational Leadership)

Examine concepts in educational administration and management, from theories and models of organisational behaviour to understanding change processes and impact on organisations. Research human resources development, management issues, other developments in education, the economy and society. If you're seeking a shorter period of study than that required for the Master of Education degree, you should consider this program. You can still choose to complete your certificate with units of study that suit your interests or specialise in Educational Leadership.

Admission to candidature requires: (i) a bachelor degree or higher in a cognate discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent; OR (ii) a bachelor honours degree or postgraduate qualification in a non-cognate discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; OR (iii) a bachelor degree in a non-cognate discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification, and professional experience equivalent to two years full-time, in a field considered by the Faculty to be appropriate to the program of studies.
